I specialized in Climate Change Policy and Renewable Energy Policy during my MSc Environmental Policy at RUC. My education involved classes and two one-year-long projects: Master thesis project for Environmental Policy degree at Roskilde University, Denmark. Thesis is about failed approval attempts of a CHP-based district heating CDM methodology under the Kyoto Protocol. Some changes to the methodology approval process are required to boost the sustainable development benefits of the CDM and ultimately the credibility of the Kyoto Protocol system. Grade: A (12 in the new Danish system) 1st year project for Environmental Policy Master of Science degree at Roskilde University, Denmark. Project is about Offshore Wind Energy in Britain: a historical analysis of British policy making related to renewable energy and wind energy, highlighted against their stated objectives and obligations. Project ends with suggestions for encouraging the take off of offshore wind in the UK. Grade: B (10 in the new Danish system) ************************** The University of São Paulo in Brazil has one of the few Meteorology bachelor-level courses in the country. It is considered the best university in South America and competition to get into this free and high quality institution is very tough.
